On the International Space Station (ISS), Russian crew members conducted an ultrasound examination (ultrasound) of different parts of the gastrointestinal tract of an astronaut in zero gravity as part of an experiment, TASS reports.
Roscosmos cosmonaut Dmitry Petelin was fitted with sensors to receive an electrocardiogram (ECG), after which he underwent ultrasound with the help of a specially designed device, conducting a study before and after eating.
"Experts on Earth say that this is very valuable data for them due to the extension of the duration of our expedition," Petelin said.
Earlier it became known that the Russian promising robot "Teledroid", which is planned to be used on the outer surface of the ISS, will receive a copying behavior. It is noted that he will perform a number of tasks autonomously.
