Defense of the diploma of RGUTIS graduates at a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia

On June 29, 2022, a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia was held at the Center for Innovative Technologies LLC. The topic of the meeting was to discuss improving the efficiency of using Image Media Center software in the interests of solving the tasks of identifying and monitoring emergencies and reducing the time to make decisions on their elimination.

During the meeting, a comprehensive graduation project "Preservation of recreational territories of Russia based on Earth remote sensing data" was heard by graduates of the Higher School of Economics: Kuleshov Vladislav Vladimirovich, Kozlova Anastasia Andreevna, Lapschun Valeria Vladislavovna, Volkova Evgenia Sergeevna, Poduyeva Tatiana Alekseevna.

The basis of this project was the analysis of space data in various fields of activity in the Image Media Center software, in which students conducted their practical classes in the educational process.

Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and employees of the Center for Innovative Technologies highly appreciated the practical significance of this complex project and decided that it could serve as a basis for further training of the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees in the IMC software package. It was also noted that the proposed tasks and technologies for their solution have practical potential for use in the interests of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
