The "Soyuz-2.1a" launch vehicle launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome

On March 22, 2021, at 09:07:12 Moscow time, a "Soyuz-2.1a" launch vehicle with a Fregat upper stage and 38 foreign spacecraft was launched from the launch pad No. 6 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome site No. 31 under the commercial program of Glavkosmos Launch Services (part of Roscosmos). According to the telemetry information, the launch, separation of the stages and the upper stage were carried out in normal mode.


The "Soyuz-2.1a" rocket has launched the CAS500-1 remote sensing spacecraft (Republic of Korea), the ELSA-d Japanese spacecraft for removing "space debris", the GRUS Japanese remote sensing satellites, the NAJM-1 small satellite of Saudi Arabia for obtaining images of the Earth and providing communications, and the communication satellites of the Technical University of Berlin. The first satellite of the Higher School of Economics (HSE) also went into orbit from the Baikonur cosmodrome. CubeSat of the "Sirius" Сenter and the HSE, as well as the "Orbicraft-Zor" satellite of "Sputnix" and other devices.
